From time to time, and as light relief from sculpting dolls and furniture making, we create individual and original cottages, beach huts, caravans - or what ever takes our fancy. These are a few we have loved making. Each one is fabulously detailed, and the tiny important touches, we believe, make them very special. We take great care to paint our stone walls, or tiled roofs so that they look really authentic and weathered - no new-builds for us!

Exterior Interior Half Pint Cottage
The single story white-washed cottage has a weathered thatched roof and messy old walls. The Wisteria climbing up to the thatch, the holly hocks, flagstone floors and Swallows nesting under the eaves are the extra touches we love doing so much. Sorry you can't see the fire place with the old oak lintel.

Blackberry Bottom Exterior Interior
This was a lovely commission, specially created to provide a home for a family of little mice. The ground floor has flagstones and the old stone stairs spiral up to the first floor. Tucked at the back of the house is the blackberry bush and basket of ripe berries. The original inspiration for this little round house was a group of wonderful round houses in the Cornish village of Veryan.

Exterior Nells' Lane Interior
This tall narrow cottage might once have been the old mill house, and still has an old lean-to store on the side. Painted in a Costwold stone effect with a somewhat decrepit roof, the narrow garden border hugs the bottom of the old walls and a little dog guards the front door. This one too has Wisteria clambering up the walls.

Beach Hut
The little hut has a glazed door
and is ready for you to decorate.
The roof lifts off and the verandah
and steps are both free standing.
Vegetable Garden
Just a small garden to sit at the side of a house,
or even as an individual project just waiting
for the gardener. Runner beans scamble up the
poles and a little rabbit has sneaked in to sample
the carrots. We also make old cottage gardens
full of flowers.
Gipsy Caravan
The one ha gone to a good home but we have
an unpainted version. This also features the
underslung cupboards which open as do
the shutters across the windows, and the
hay-rack and ladder.
